Documents Required to Get a Marriage Registration Certificate in Pakistan
To issue a marriage registration certificate, NADRA will require the following documents.
- Bride and Groom’s attested CNIC copies.
- Attested CNIC copies of the bride’s and groom’s parents.
- An attested CNIC copy of the Nikkah Khawan.
- A copy of the Urdu Nikkah Nama.
- A completed application form signed by the applicants.
The Procedure to Obtain a NADRA Marriage Certificate
To get a NADRA marriage certificate, the applicant must visit their nearest Union Councils, TMAs or Cantonment Board Offices. At the time of writing, no online facility exists for marriage certificate application and the applicant has no choice other than to visit the concerned issuing department to get the application form and submit their application.
